About Hunky Dorys Park
United Park (Renamed Hunky Dorys Park in 2010) is a 2,000 capacity ground that has been hosting Drogheda United since 1979. The ground has 400 seats, mainly situated in the clubhouse stand. A renovation of the stadium was made in 2010 in order to bring it up to licensing requirements, and the capacity brought down from 5,400 on request from the Louth County Fire Officer.
The ground has previously hosted Ireland u21 matches and a game in the 1994 European u16 Championships, and also oversaw United's only league win in 2007, when Guy Bates stuck home a 30-yard winner to seal the title with three games to go.

Away Fans
Away fans at Hunky Dorys Park are housed in a small terrace stand next to the clubhouse stand. Supporters are roofed but cannot sit down at games. Toilets are advised to be used before the game, as toilet facilities for away supporters leaves much to be desired. Drogheda fans are good to away supporters and trouble rarely, if ever occurs at the ground.
Directions
United Park is on the northside of the town right beside the Hospital. Come off the M1 at the exit signposted 'Drogheda North' and head towards the town. Take the left just before the Nissan garage. United Park is just down the road.
Parking
Parking is best found on the Crosslanes, almost directly behind the ground.
Food & Drink
Outside the Ground: United Park hasn't much in the way of restaurants outside the chipper, your best bet is to either get food in Drogheda Town or inside the ground.
Pubs: There's a neutral pub on the Windmill Road, the Windmill House which serves pub food as well as drinks. Drogheda United themselves have a clubhouse but that can be out-of-bounds for away supporters depending on numbers.
Inside the Ground: If the clubhouse is open it serves good quality meals. If not, there's the usual shop and chipper that serve grub for the hungry football fan.
