About Terryland Park
Terryland Park, formerly the home of Galway United, is a 5,000 capacity stadium, now owned by the Galway District League. The League has re-branded the stadium as 'Eamonn Deasy Park' but amongst League of Ireland supporters it will always be known by its former name.
The stadium hosts around 90 games a year, including u21 international games. It was to undergo further redevelopment in 2007 after a €500,000 grant was received from the Irish Government in 2006. The money went towards development works, chief of which was the building of a new 1,500-seater stand. The new stand was opened in July 2007 and raised the seated capacity to 3,300 and overall capacity 5,000 [3]. Work continues and it is planned that the new stand will include a shop unit, turnstiles, medical examination and first-aid rooms, toilets, showers, dressing-rooms, a match delegates' room, officials' dressing-room, a new media and reception room, a canteen with facilities for press conference, and TV and radio facilities.

Away Fans
Away fans are seated in the old stand, which is excellent apart from the poles which can obstruct the view. Galway's generally a great trip and a trip to Terryland should be untertaken if at all possible
